The Mukinbudin Community Resource Centre (formerly known as the Mukinbudin Telecentre) is a not for profit, community managed organisation servicing the regional community of Mukinbudin. The Mukinbudin Community Resource Centre is part of a network of over 100 Community Resource Centres located in small rural communities in Western Australia, and is supported by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development and the Royalties for Regions initiative.
The Mukinbudin Community Resource Centre was officially opened in 1998 and was formerly known as the Mukinbudin Telecentre. The purpose-built building was completed in 2006 and also comprises of the local paper, "Muka Matters" and the Natural Resource Management offices. The Resource Centre is community owned and operated and offers community members access to various technologies and a range of government services.
The Mukinbudin Community Resource Centre strives to be the best it can be. The Mukinbudin Community Resource Centre takes great pride in being a business that offers excellent services, modern equipment and an open mind for new ideas. We are continually looking for new ways in which to support the community through the courses and events we host each year. Our Community Resource Centre, in return, is very well supported by the community, the Shire and other businesses.
